Garth Brooks Taking Requests for Facebook Live Concert Next Week

Another live performance for you to stream at home

March 20, 2020

Garth Brooks is no stranger to Facebook Live, offering up a weekly update for fans during his Inside Studio G segment each week. However, next week will be a little different, with the Country icon answering the call of fans, setting time for a live streaming performance.

As coronavirus concerns have postponed concert dates around the world, some artists are taking the show online, streaming live performances for fans that are home practicing social distancing. Luke Combs entertained folks from his home studio earlier this week, debuting a new song and more. Keith Urban brought the party down to the basement for his performance on Instagram, with wife Nicole Kidman dancing along. Brad Paisley and Ashley McBryde got in on the action too, both streaming at-home sets for everyone.

Now it’s time for Garth Brooks, who will fire up Facebook Live on Monday March 23 at 7PM ET, with just his guitar and his wife Trisha Yearwood. The couple will be performing and taking requests.

As the coronavirus has escalated, concerts and festivals have been cancelled or postponed. With experts asking people not to gather in large crowds, they have become near impossible to perform. But the wave of live concert streams from music’s biggest stars have helped, and may even mark a change in the landscape for performances.
