It’s no secret that Brett Eldredge is a die-hard Chicago Cubs fan and after their big Tuesday night win, they forced a decisive game seven in the World Series. This became a big problem for Brett because Game 7 was now on Wednesday night the same night as the 50th anniversary of the CMA Awards.

Brett took to snapchat asking fans what to do? He said “It’s been my family’s dream from my grandparents all the way down to my father and my brother and I and my whole family to go to the World Series.”

So by now you may know he skipped the CMA Awards attended Game 7 and the rest is history. Can you imagine how incredibly bummed he would’ve been if he skipped the game last night?

Look how cute this pic is of a then and now of Brett, his brother and father…
