Miami Hurricanes are 4 – 0 so far this year and the guy who helped em there is pretty amazing.

University of Miami football coach Mark Richt is a compassionate man of faith.   Mark had heard that some of his players didn’t have a bible and the ones that did had bibles that were hard to understand.   Sooo… with the help of the teams chaplain Steve DeBardelaben… each member of the coaching staff and all players got a personalized bible.

According to the Sun Sentinel… Mark said…  “I told the guys, It’s a choice.  If you want to leave it in the chair, you can.   If you want to take it with you, you can.  If you want to give it to somebody you can.”   If you take the challenge of reading a proverb a day (the book of wisdom)… you’re going to get wiser.

Coach Richt and his wife Katharyn have taken mission trips to Honduras.

Kevin Hynes who is the team chaplain for Georgia… happens to be his brother in law too… said…

“I’ve never seen a man get more humble with more success, but that’s just what God has done in his life.

Course… i say… Well done coach!  – Darlene Evans
