49er’s quarterback Colin Kaepernick refused to stand for the National Anthem during a recent NFL football game and many Americans do not agree with his choice. One of those people is the owner of Lakeland’s Winners Circle Sports Bar & Grill, Bill Alcock. In his protest against the quarterback, Alcock has placed decals that resemble a mini Kaepernick jersey in the urinals of the bar.

When Alcock was asked by News Channel 8, why he chose to place the decals in the urinals he said that he “was kind of offended by it. My dad was a Marine. I just thought it was very, very disrespectful.” The bar owner did go on to say that he does support Kaepernick’s First Amendment right but the jersey in the urinal is just a “little message that you not disrespect the flag, and don’t disrespect our military.”
