Country artist and actor Chris Carmack and his fiancée Erin Slaver welcomed a new baby girl into their lives on August 30, reports The Boot.
Fans know Carmack from his role as the openly gay country artist Will Lexington on the TV show Nashville, but they might know Slaver, too. The fiddle player was one of Juliette Barnes’ (Hayden Panettiere) backup singers during the show’s first two seasons.
“In my life, I never imagined I’d experience something so beautiful,” Slaver writes on Instagram. “We are completely in love with our tw0-day-old, sweet baby girl…”
Slaver documented her pregnancy on Instagram, and even shared a photo of Carmack wearing a fake pregnancy suit.
Carmack released an EP, Pieces of You, in December of 2015. “The music is something I’ve always done and always loved but always really kept for myself,” he said at the time. “[It’s] something I do for me. I never really intended on giving it a stab, but the opportunities that have presented themselves through the show have made it clear that I really need to, for my own sanity. If I was to let these opportunities go by without ever giving it a try, I would probably regret it for the rest of my life, so I’m giving it a go.”
